Buying Goods

On registration you will select a user ID and password which you should keep confidential at all times. Draper Tools Limited ("Draper") will not be responsible if you do not maintain the secrecy of your user ID and password. If you become aware that anybody else knows your user ID and password you should immediately advise our IT department

Photographs, drawings, diagrams and descriptions are for guide purposes only and do not necessarily represent the products on offer; any sizes, capacities and dimensions quoted are approximate and also for guidance purposes only.

Draper reserves the right to change the description or specification of its products without notice.

Prices

The prices shown on our website include VAT at the UK standard rate and are subject to confirmation. Please note that delivery charges are charged on each order and the delivery options and prices are displayed on the Delivery Charges page and added to the total value of your order.

Any Draper offers or discount arrangements not referred to on the Draper website are not relevent to website sales/purchases.

Availability of Goods

We endeavour to indicate the availability of products held but on occasions, due to circumstances beyond our control, products may be temporarily out of stock and we are unable to guarantee their availability at all times. Draper will in no circumstances be liable for the non availability of any product.

In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil any aspect of your order we will advise you on your delivery note/invoice and we will refund your credit/debit card account within 3 working days of the invoice date

Special Offers and Promotions

In order to maintain supplies for all its customers Draper reserves the right to limit the number of products on promotion or special offer that may be ordered by a customer.

Cancellation or Amendment of Orders

When you place an online order for Draper products you will receive confirmation of your order from Draper by email.

Because we endeavour to fulfil all orders immediately we regret that it is not possible for you to amend or cancel your order once it has been placed.

Payment

We accept payment by Master Card, Visa and JCB credit cards and by Switch, Delta, Visa, Electron and Solo debit cards only. For your protection your credit\debit card details will be encrypted.

Before your order is accepted your card details will be checked and payment verified. You will receive email confirmation of our acceptance of your order, provided we have been supplied with a valid email address.

Delivery

Our standard delivery service aims to deliver your order on mainland UK (see Delivery Charges page) on the working day (Mondays to Fridays excluding Bank Holidays) following the day on which your order is accepted, although we cannot guarantee this.

Deliveries must be signed for by someone aged 18 years or over. If no one is available to receive your order at the time of delivery the delivery driver will leave notification of the attempted delivery and return the goods to the depot from where you will be responsible for arranging collection.

Delivery will only be made to the delivery address specified at the time the order is placed.

Guarantees

Draper 14 day money back guarantee

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your goods, Draper will refund the price of the goods provided that they are returned unused and in their original condition, together with the original packaging, within 14 days of the date of the invoice, a copy of which must be returned with the goods.

Hand Tools: Draper hand tools carry a lifetime guarantee against faulty materials and workmanship; (certain tools have consumable parts which are not included in the guarantee, but generally replacement parts for these are available and may be purchased from Draper, e.g. ratchet repair kits.)

Power Tools: Draper power tools are guaranteed for twelve months (90 days for tools used for hire) from the invoice date against faulty materials and workmanship.

Air Tools: Draper air tools are guaranteed for six months (90 days for tools used for hire) from the invoice date against faulty materials and workmanship.

Fair Wear & Tear

The above guarantees do not apply to fair wear and tear or damage caused by misuse or abuse of the products.

Limitation of Liability

Draper's liability (even if it has been negligent) shall not extend to:

• Innapropriate use

• loss of business, income or profits
• failure to make predicted savings
• "wasted" expenditure
• losses which are not a direct consequence of the action (or lack of action) of Draper or its sub-contractors.
• any other consequential loss;

and, to the extent allowed by law, shall be limited to the value of the goods supplied.

Statutory Rights

Consumers' statutory rights are not affected.

Linked sites are not under the control of Draper and Draper is not responsible or liable for the contents of any linked site or any link contained in a linked site. Linked sites are provided to users as a convenience only and the existence of such a link does not imply any endorsement or recommendation of such site.

Reservation of Rights

All rights in the photographs, drawings, design, "get up", information and part numbers on the Draper website are owned by Draper and may not be copied or printed (except for your personal use in connection with the placing of an order) without first obtaining the written consent of Draper.

The names and logos of Draper and other services referred to on this website are trademarks or registered trade marks of Draper.

Data Protection and Privacy

The personal information with which you provide us will be safeguarded by Draper and will only be used for certain specific purposes.

Miscellaneous

To order goods from the Draper website you must be at least 18 years of age, resident in the United Kingdom and have registered as a Draper customer.

Draper reserves the right to:

• terminate or alter the Draper website service
• refuse the registration of any customer without giving a reason
• cancel your registration and cancel your ability to use the Draper service if you fail to abide by these terms and conditions
• alter these terms and conditions at any time by posting notice of such alteration together with the altered terms on the website .

Whilst Draper and its subcontractors and agents make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the content of the Draper website it cannot guarantee this, nor can it guarantee that the service offered on the website will be continuous or entirely secure and customers use the Draper website and online ordering service entirely at their own risk.
