Breaking news: Draper Tools partners with Excelr8 Motorsport

At 100 years old Draper Tools remains as committed as ever to growth and opportunities to drive the brand forward. That’s why we’re pleased to announce a new motorsport partnership with Excelr8 Motorsport, who will be racing in the new season of the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).

Excelr8 is successful team taking on the BTCC for the first time in 2019 and we’re thrilled to be partnering with them for this exciting venture. In the BTCC, Excelr8 will campaign the well-known MG6 in 2019 before designing their own car for 2020. Here's a look at the Draper sponsored car, driven by Rob Smith.

Draper Tools will be supplying the team with a range of high-quality automotive tools and equipment to help maintain its fleet of race cars. The Excelr8 technicians are in good company here, the Draper Tools automotive range is used by several expert mechanics including the team at Caterham Cars and Santapod Raceway.
